Today I took a few photos of life around Paradise Canyon Farm. First are my goats… doing one of the things they do best — eating!! I will post better pics of them later. Clockwise, starting with the white one, are Buckwheat (herd sire), his companion Speedy Gonzales, Butterscotch (my best milker), and Sassafrass Tea (Sassy for short).
Then we have “baby bellies” pics… the babies are the “bulge” on the goat’s right side. They are due to kid starting in mid-May! Yippee!
This is Butterscotch, she had twins last year.
This is Sassy, last year she gave us our first baby goat ever.
This is Patches, (or her butt anyway!) last year she gave us the prettiest of the babies.
Some shots of my chickens… the first one is one of my beautiful Buff Orpington hens, she is the escape artist!
And finally are some volunteer veggies that were missed during harvest last year. The first one is onions, the second is garlic.
This is just a tiny bit of life at Paradise Canyon Farm….. hope you enjoyed the view.

We’re expecting the first kids of 2008 to start coming next week. We should have a least 10 kids by the time the does are all finished. Busy time of year…
